Support Storm Recovery for Exceptional Families

The recent traumatic storms in the Northwest have left families of children with exceptional abilities facing overwhelming new challenges. Many are trying to help their children cope with emotional distress, disrupted routines, and the loss of the stability they depend on each day. Paula is raising support for these families so they do not have to carry this burden alone. In moments like these, having access to understanding, practical resources, and a caring community can make all the difference in helping children and caregivers begin to heal.

Funds from this fundraiser will help provide the support these families urgently need, including:

• open play sessions that encourage connection, social skills, and emotional healing

• safe, nutritious foods that meet sensory and dietary needs

• respite opportunities for caregivers through Parents’ Night Out

• additional training resources and support services for families

• trauma intervention and emergency sensory kits for moments of distress
