Sawyer Mathis graces our cover. He is the inspiration behind a picture book entitled The Littlest Inventor, written by his mother, Mandy Mathis. Sawyer was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome and sensory processing disorder (SPD) at an early age. He helped himself by devising creative tools to overcome his sensory issues.
